After Meeting with FEMA, Feenstra Secures $1.8 Million for Rock Valley Community School District for Flood Recovery
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, after a joint meeting with Rock Valley city officials and representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) announced that he secured $1.8 million for Rock Valley Community School District for ongoing flood recovery efforts.
“After a substantive meeting with city officials from Rock Valley and FEMA, I’m glad to announce that we secured $1.8 million for Rock Valley Community School District for ongoing flood recovery efforts. I’m continually impressed by the resilience of our neighbors in Rock Valley and their commitment to rebuilding stronger than before,” said Rep. Feenstra. “This funding will help get students back in the classroom and ensure that they can learn in a safe environment. I will not stop until the people of Rock Valley receive the full relief that they need and deserve.”
