Feenstra Applauds President Trump’s Key Wins for Farmers at the Great American Agriculture Celebration

March 27, 2026

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) released the following statement following his attendance at President Trump’s Great American Agriculture Celebration at the White House.

“The Great American Agriculture Celebration and subsequent announcements represent President Trump’s commitment to delivering on promises made to support the American farmer and rural communities across the country,” said Rep. Feenstra. “I applaud President Trump, Secretary Rollins, and Administrator Zeldin for their dedication to ensuring Iowa farmers are able to continue to feed and fuel the nation through strong Renewable Fuel Standards, support for a Farm Bill, year-round nationwide E15, and the success that the Working Families Tax Cuts have provided for rural communities.”

Today’s White House event highlighted a range of wins for American producers delivered this year, and included announcements on issues critical to Iowa farmers and ranchers, including:

A Finalized Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) Rule for 2026–2027: EPA’s final rule demonstrates the strongest ever commitment to renewable fuels, delivering the certainty producers need to grow, innovate, and continue delivering affordable and reliable fuel options at the pump for American families.

Commitment to Signing a Strong Farm Bill: The House Farm Bill prioritizes investment in rural communities, strengthens export markets, protects farmland from foreign influence, repeals Prop 12, expands rural broadband access, enhances agricultural research, and emphasizes farmer safety. This bill, passed out of the House Agriculture Committee, included over 15 bills that Rep. Feenstra has sponsored or led.

Commitment to Securing Year-Round Nationwide E15: Earlier this week, Administrator Zeldin announced summertime waivers for the 2026 driving season, which gives farmers, fuel producers, and consumers certainty in the driving season this year. Further, today, President Trump reaffirmed his commitment to signing year-round nationwide E15 into law.

Increased Access to Capital and Affordable Financing: Today, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced that small businesses across America’s food supply chain are now eligible for an enhanced “Grocery Guarantee” through the SBA International Trade Loan (ITL) Program. These loans will be accessible to a wide range of agricultural producers and logistics providers to expand food production and strengthen supply chains, with the goal of lowering grocery costs for consumers.

Successes of the Working Families Tax Cuts: Critical victories include Congressman Feenstra’s permanent relief from the Death Tax up to $15 million, ensuring family farms can be passed down to the next generation; strengthened Section 199A, helping small businesses and family farms deduct up to 20 percent of qualified business income; and immediate expensing and 100 percent bonus depreciation, enabling farmers to fully deduct equipment, machinery, and infrastructure costs in the year they are purchased.

Historic Trade Deals: Strong trade agreements with the European Union, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, the Philippines, and the United Kingdom open new markets for Iowa corn, soybeans, beef, dairy, and pork while holding foreign nations accountable for unfair practices.
