Feenstra Recognizes History Made By Boyden-Hull, Western Christian High School Boys Basketball Teams in Speech on House Floor
WASHINGTON -- Today, Rep. Randy Feenstra (IA-04) spoke on the floor of the U.S. House to celebrate the accomplishments and recognize the history made by the Boyden-Hull and Western Christian High School boys basketball teams during last week’s state basketball tournament.

I rise today to celebrate something that hasn’t happened in Iowa in 110 years --
Last Friday, two schools from the same community met in the Boys Class 2A State Basketball Championship.
And it just so happens they were from my hometown of Hull.
Boyden-Hull and Western Christian faced off in what ended up being a nail biter, right up until the end.
Western Christian came out on top, winning 56 to 50.
This was the first time since 2005 that the two schools met.
With this win, the Wolfpack set another record: becoming state champions for an impressive 10th time.
Congratulations to Boyden-Hull on an outstanding season, and congratulations to Western Christian on winning the Class 2A championship!
Both teams made me proud, and made all of Hull proud.
