Feenstra Votes to Block Biden-Era Regulations on Household Appliances
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) voted for, and the U.S. House of Representatives passed, a resolution blocking costly Biden-era regulations on household appliances from being implemented.
“After four years of the Biden administration’s tax-and-spend policies that sent inflation skyrocketing, our families need relief from costly regulations and red tape. That’s why I voted to block Biden-era regulations on household appliances like washing machines, dishwashers, air conditioning units, and heaters that would raise prices for our families and increase costs for domestic manufacturers,” said Rep. Feenstra. “Iowans – not the federal government – should be allowed to choose the best appliances for their homes. As a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, I’ll keep working to lower costs for Iowa families, farmers, and businesses by extending the Trump Tax Cuts, bolstering American energy production, and cutting through unnecessary red tape.”
