Feenstra Announces 2023 Military Academy Selection Board

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) announced the eight members who will serve on the 2023 Military Academy Selection Board for Iowa’s 4th Congressional District.

“It is an honor and an incredible responsibility to serve our country in uniform. Thousands of Americans have fought and died so that we may enjoy the freedoms that we hold dear today,” said Rep. Feenstra. “I am proud to announce the eight members who will serve on our Military Academy Selection Board this year and be tasked with reviewing and recommending candidates for our nation’s military academies. I encourage young Iowans who wish to be considered for a position at one of our nation’s service academies to apply for a nomination through my office by October 1st.”

The board members are as follows:

  • Liz Doll of Council Bluffs, Iowa
  • Rick Franck of Denison, Iowa
  • Brittany Freet of Mondamin, Iowa
  • Theresa Hildreth of Rockwell City, Iowa
  • Eric Rankin of Hull, Iowa
  • Chad Reece of Britt, Iowa
  • Trish Roberts of Carroll, Iowa
  • Terry Seehusen of Humboldt, Iowa

Anyone seeking to attend the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, or the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy must receive a nomination from an authorized source, which includes their member of Congress.
