More on Congress
This week, I had the honor of attending President Trump’s historic State of the Union address, a speech that sent a simple but powerful message: America is back on track. One year ago, President Trump made a promise to put the American people first, and the results are clear—a secure border, a stronger economy, lower taxes, and renewed opportunities for working families.

Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) helped introduce the Stop Insider Trading Act which would ensure that Members of Congress cannot profit from insider information.
This bill would ban Members of Congress, their spouses, and their dependent children from purchasing individual stocks from publicly traded companies and would require a public seven-day advance notice before selling any individual stocks while they are serving as elected officials.
On November 12th, I voted to end the Democrat shutdown and reopen the federal government. For 43 days, Democrats forced our troops, border patrol agents, and Air Traffic Controllers to work without pay and hurt our farmers during harvest season to push their out-of-touch agenda. WASHINGTON, D.C. – Yesterday, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) issued the following statement congratulating Donald J. Trump on being inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States:
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) issued the following statement after the certification of the election of Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States:
Earlier this year, our communities were hit by severe floods and powerful tornadoes that devastated homes, farms, businesses, hospitals, and schools. Crops were damaged, personal property was destroyed, and vehicles were totaled. Months later, families are still picking up the pieces and working to rebuild. But, even amid unthinkable tragedy, Iowans rallied around our neighbors to lend a helping hand because that’s just how we do things in Iowa. We help where we can and support our fellow Iowans when they need it most.
