Feenstra Issues Statement on Certification of Donald Trump as 47th President of the United States

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) issued the following statement after the certification of the election of Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States:

“On November 5th, President Trump was elected as our nation’s 47th President with the support of more than 77 million Americans. His vision of secure borders, economic prosperity, energy dominance, and global security resonated with Iowans and Americans everywhere,” said Rep. Feenstra. “Today, President Trump’s victory was officially certified so that we can immediately get to work advancing our America First agenda. With Republican control of Congress and President Trump in the White House, we will secure our border, cut wasteful spending, reauthorize the Trump Tax Cuts, stand up to China, and support our hardworking farmers and producers.”
