Feenstra Applauds Senate Confirmation of Brooke Rollins as U.S. Secretary of Agriculture
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) released the following statement after the U.S. Senate confirmed Brooke Rollins as the 33rd U.S. Secretary of Agriculture:
“I congratulate Brooke Rollins on her confirmation to be President Trump’s Secretary of Agriculture. As the backbone of Iowa’s economy and our rural communities, we need to advance policies that strengthen agriculture and support our hardworking farmers and producers. That includes passing the Farm Bill, preventing the spread of foreign animal disease, helping the next generation of American farmers plant their roots, growing our export markets, holding our trading partners accountable to our laws, and making year-round access to E-15 a reality nationwide. I look forward to working with Secretary Rollins to support our producers and welcoming her to Iowa to see firsthand the breadbasket to our country and the world.”
