Feenstra Praises Passage of Legislation to Provide Disabled Veterans with Free TSA PreCheck
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) praised passage of the VETS Safe Travel Act, which would make disabled veterans eligible for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) PreCheck Program at no cost.
“As grateful Americans, it is critical that we provide our veterans with the benefits that they have earned and deserve. From high-quality healthcare to other helpful resources, I believe that we should jump at every opportunity to give back to our nation’s heroes,” said Rep. Feenstra. “That’s why I’m glad that the U.S. House of Representatives unanimously passed legislation to give our disabled veterans free TSA PreCheck – a well-deserved convenience when traveling through our airports. Our veterans have made incredible sacrifices in defense of our nation, and this is just one small way that we can show our appreciation to these heroes and their families.”
