Feenstra Supports Resolution Condemning President Biden’s Failure to Secure the Border

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) voted for, and the U.S. House of Representatives passed, a congressional resolution denouncing the Biden administration’s open-border policies that have exacerbated the border crisis.

“President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas refuse to accept responsibility for the border crisis that they created. Thanks to their open-border policies, terrorists, drug traffickers, foreign nationals with ties to China, and approximately eight million illegal immigrants have crossed our border on their watch. It’s a shameful dereliction of duty for those tasked with enforcing our immigration laws,” said Rep. Feenstra. “While the Biden administration ignores the crisis at hand, I have supported and introduced legislation to finish the border wall, deport illegal immigrants, fully fund our border patrol agents, and keep deadly fentanyl out of our rural communities. This resolution reflects my commitment to work nonstop until our border is secure and our nation is once again secure.”
