Feenstra Votes to Fully Fund Troops and Border Patrol While Continuing Work on President Trump’s America First Agenda

March 11, 2025

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) issued the following statement after voting for a clean, fiscally conservative continuing resolution to keep the federal government open through the end of the fiscal year:

“The American people support President Trump’s America First agenda of tax cuts for families, border security, energy independence, and fiscal responsibility. My vote for this clean, fiscally conservative continuing resolution ensures that we pay our troops and fully fund our border patrol agents while continuing our work to extend the Trump Tax Cuts, lock down our border, unleash American energy production, and eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse in our government. I’ll keep working with the Trump administration to deliver tax relief for Iowans, give our border patrol agents the resources that they need to protect our communities, and lower energy costs with American oil, gas, and homegrown biofuels.”
