Feenstra Votes to Fully Fund Veterans’ Benefits and Build Housing for Military Families

June 5, 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) voted for, and the U.S. House of Representatives passed, the Fiscal Year 2025 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies appropriations bill.

“As Americans, we have no greater duty than providing our veterans with the benefits they have earned and supporting our troops and their families. The FY 2025 Military Construction and Veterans Affairs appropriations bill upholds our commitment to our servicemembers and our veterans by fully funding veterans’ benefits and healthcare programs while simultaneously defunding radical initiatives like critical race theory and DEI programs,” said Rep. Feenstra. “This legislation also invests in new housing for our troops, supports affordable childcare for our military families, strengthens our strategic position against China, and protects our veterans’ 2nd Amendment rights. I will continue to stand with our troops, veterans, and military families.”
