Feenstra Votes to Reauthorize Programs to Teach Horrors of the Holocaust
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) voted for, and the U.S. House of Representatives passed, the Never Again Education Reauthorization Act.
This legislation which was signed into law by President Trump in 2020 and will now be extended through Fiscal Year 2030.
“As antisemitism increases across our country and around the world, it is critical that we teach the next generation of Americans about the horrors of the Holocaust. The death and destruction that occurred at the hands of the Nazis must never be forgotten,” said Rep. Feenstra. “I was glad to vote for the Never Again Education Reauthorization Act to ensure that we educate our children about the Holocaust and honor the lives of the more than six million victims who faced unthinkable suffering. We must never forget the lives lost and never let such a tragedy happen again.”
