Feenstra Votes to Support Veteran Small Business Owners

February 25, 2025

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Yesterday, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) joined the U.S. House of Representatives in unanimously approving the Successful Entrepreneurship for Reservists and Veterans (SERV) Act.

This legislation commissions a report by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) on access to capital for veteran small business owners and requires the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Interagency Task Force on Veterans Small Business Development to develop a plan to help veterans open small businesses.

“Our veterans are heroes who selflessly answered the call to serve our country. As a grateful nation, we must ensure that they receive the high-quality healthcare, benefits, and support that they deserve and have earned,” said Rep. Feenstra. “That’s why I supported legislation to help our veterans secure the capital and resources that they need to start a business and enhance outreach efforts to veterans who wish to open a business. I will always stand with our veterans who have sacrificed immensely on behalf of our country.”
