Feenstra Welcomes Bill Couser as Special Guest to Inauguration of President Trump
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Yesterday, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) welcomed Bill Couser of Nevada, Iowa as his special guest to the inauguration ceremony for President Donald Trump. Couser is a cattle farmer and staunch advocate for homegrown Iowa biofuels.
“I am excited to have my friend Bill Couser in our nation’s capital for President Trump’s inauguration. Like so many Iowans across the 4th Congressional District, Bill knows the importance of agriculture and biofuels to our economy and rural main streets,” said Rep. Feenstra. “I look forward to working with President Trump and Iowans like Bill to pass the Farm Bill, eliminate the death tax, reauthorize the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, and advocate for homegrown Iowa biofuels and year-round E-15.”
“I thank Congressman Feenstra for the invitation to attend President Trump’s inauguration and be part of history. As a cattle farmer and strong supporter of biofuels, I am glad that strong agricultural and energy policy will be a top focus of Congress and the Trump administration,” said Mr. Couser. “In the months ahead, we need to get the Farm Bill signed into law and continue working to make year-round access to E-15 a reality nationwide. By passing policies that benefit rural Iowa, we can make our rural communities stronger and show our support to the men and women who feed and fuel our country and the world.”
