Feenstra Welcomes Iowa Turkey Farmers Brad and Ava Moline as Guests to President Trump’s Address to Joint Session of Congress

March 3, 2025

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) announced that Brad Moline and his daughter Ava Moline — who raise turkeys on their century-old farm in Manson, Iowa — will be his guests to President Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday March 4, 2025.

“I am excited to welcome Brad Moline and his daughter Ava as my guests to President Trump’s joint address to Congress. Celebrating 100 years in 2024, four generations of the Moline family have raised turkeys in Calhoun County, and 16-year-old Ava is proudly carrying on this amazing tradition by selling 2,000 turkeys every Thanksgiving. Ava’s example is proof that the next generation will honor and cement Iowa’s status as an agricultural powerhouse,” said Rep. Feenstra. “Ensuring that our farm traditions can continue in rural Iowa is a top priority for me. It’s why I’m working to pass the Farm Bill, combat the devastating bird flu outbreak, and eliminate the death tax for good. Representing the second largest ag-producing district in the country, I remain committed to protecting our family farms, supporting our turkey farmers, and ensuring that legacies like the Moline family’s can be preserved and passed along.”
