Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) voted for, and the U.S. House of Representatives passed, three resolutions under the Congressional Review Act (CRA) overturning waivers granted by the Biden administration to the State of California to advance its electric-vehicle mandates.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Reps. Randy Feenstra (R-IA) and Jimmy Panetta (D-CA) and U.S. Senators Roger Wicker (R-MS), Katie Britt (R-AL), Tina Smith (D-MN), and Chris Coons (D-DE) introduced the Safe American Food Exports (SAFE) Act, which would codify USDA’s role in negotiating regionalization agreements that allow livestock, poultry, and other animal products from unaffected areas of the country to continue to be safely exported in the event of an animal disease outbreak.

This legislation would make the publication of deepfake pornography and other nonconsensual, sexually explicit images a federal crime and require online platforms to take these false depictions down.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) issued the following statement thanking the Trump administration for approving E-15 sales this summer:

“I thank President Trump and EPA Administrator Zeldin for approving E-15 sales in all fifty states this summer. Whether traveling for work or embarking on a family road trip, Americans will benefit from lower gas prices courtesy of Iowa farmers and ethanol producers. Now, we must codify this waiver and make E-15 permanently available at gas stations year-round and nationwide.”

HULL, IOWA — Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) released the following statement after finishing a three-day stint on his 36 County Tour that took him to 12 counties in Iowa’s 4th Congressional District:

“Since I was first elected to Congress, I pledged that I would travel to all 36 counties in our district at least twice each year. This week, I upheld that promise by meeting with Iowans in 12 different counties.

HULL, IOWA – Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) joined a letter – led by U.S. Reps. Adrian Smith (R-NE) and Angie Craig (D-MN) – urging the Trump administration to allow for the nationwide sale of E-15 this summer. 

In a bipartisan letter to President Donald Trump, Feenstra and his colleagues asked the Trump administration to extend the Reid vapor pressure (RVP) waiver from June 1 through September 15, 2025.

HULL, IOWA – Earlier this month, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) helped introduce – alongside Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) – the Neighborhood Homes Investment Act, which would mobilize private investment to construct new, affordable homes and revitalize existing homes to attract and keep families and businesses in Iowa. 

This legislation would support the construction or rehabilitation of roughly 500,000 homes for middle- and low-income families.

HULL, IOWA – This Congress, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) helped introduce, alongside U.S. Rep. Max Miller (R-OH), the Permanent Tax Cuts for American Families Act, which would make the enhanced standard deduction – first established by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) of 2017 – permanent. 

This enhanced deduction is set to expire at the end of 2025 absent congressional action.

HULL, IOWA – Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) introduced the Preserving Rights Of Tenants by Ensuring Compliance To (PROTECT) the Second Amendment Act. This legislation would secure the Second Amendment rights of Americans who live in rental properties whose landlords receive financial assistance from the federal government. 

More specifically, this proposal ensures that landlords and rental property managers cannot unlawfully restrict firearm ownership of tenants.
