Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) voted for, and the U.S. House of Representatives passed, the Jeremy and Angel Seay and Sergeant Brandon Mendoza Protect Our Communities from DUIs Act to bar illegal immigrants from entering the United States if they have committed or been convicted of a drunk driving offense and makes a DUI a deportable offense.

Traveling across Iowa on my 36 County Tour, I hear from so many small business owners and workers who want a government that works for them, not against them. For the last four years, the Biden administration was playing ball with foreign nations, outsourcing American manufacturing, and stifling domestic industry with red tape and burdensome regulations. From the factories in Rock Valley to the main street businesses of Marshalltown, our communities flourish when we support policies that empower small business owners, cut red tape, and fuel economic growth.

On Wednesday June 11th, U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent and U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins traveled to Capitol Hill to testify before the House Ways and Means Committee and the House Agriculture Committee, respectively. As the only member of Congress serving on these two pivotal committees, I had the opportunity to speak directly with these incredibly talented cabinet secretaries who are delivering on President Trump’s economic and agricultural agenda.
