Since I was first elected to Congress, I pledged that I would travel to all 36 counties in Iowa’s 4th Congressional District at least twice each year. It’s a promise that I’ve faithfully kept and dubbed my “36 County Tour.” To date, I have made more than 345 stops, meeting with Iowans and visiting hospitals, farms, schools, businesses, manufacturers, universities, community organizations, and many other places.

On Wednesday April 23rd, as part of my 36 County Tour, I visited the Iowa Veterans Home (IVH) in Marshalltown with Commandant of the Iowa Department of Veterans Affairs, Todd Jacobus. I had a phenomenal tour of their facilities, met with incredible staff, and spoke with countless veterans, thanking these amazing American heroes for their service to our country. As a grateful nation, it is our duty to provide our veterans with the high-quality healthcare and benefits that they have earned and deserve.

On Tuesday April 22nd, I visited Maintainer Corporation in Sheldon as part of my biannual 36 County Tour.

I toured the new showroom and training facility, which both opened in January, as well as the production floor. The training facility includes virtual painting and welding and allows employees to learn new skills and refine existing knowledge.

Since I was first elected to Congress, I pledged that I would travel to all 36 counties in our district – Iowa’s 4th Congressional District – at least twice each year. From Tuesday April 22nd to Thursday April 24th, I upheld that promise by meeting with Iowans in 12 different counties, marking nearly 350 individual stops completed over the last few years.

HULL, IOWA – Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) joined a letter – led by U.S. Reps. Adrian Smith (R-NE) and Angie Craig (D-MN) – urging the Trump administration to allow for the nationwide sale of E-15 this summer.

In a bipartisan letter to President Donald Trump, Feenstra and his colleagues asked the Trump administration to extend the Reid vapor pressure (RVP) waiver from June 1 through September 15, 2025.

In 2017, President Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) into law, cutting taxes for hardworking families, encouraging investment in farms and businesses, and unleashing economic growth and prosperity. These historic tax cuts allowed millions of American workers to keep more of their hard-earned money, freed up cash for small businesses to expand and hire new employees, helped farmers finance equipment purchases, and lowered the financial costs of raising children through a stronger child tax credit and the creation of a new Paid Family and Medical Leave Tax Credit.

On Sept. 30, 2023, the 2018 Farm Bill that President Donald Trump signed into law during his first administration, officially expired, requiring Congress to subsequently pass a one-year extension of this critical legislation for our farmers, producers, and rural communities.

Understanding the urgent need to reauthorize the Farm Bill and newly entrusted with the House majority, my Republican colleagues on the House Agriculture Committee and I, along with four Democrats, passed a new, five-year Farm Bill on May 23, 2024.

HULL, IOWA – Earlier this month, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) helped introduce – alongside Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) – the Neighborhood Homes Investment Act, which would mobilize private investment to construct new, affordable homes and revitalize existing homes to attract and keep families and businesses in Iowa.

This legislation would support the construction or rehabilitation of roughly 500,000 homes for middle- and low-income families.
