Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) voted for, and the U.S. House of Representatives passed, the HALT Fentanyl Act, which would permanently list all fentanyl-related substances under Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act and empower law enforcement to swiftly confiscate fentanyl and other deadly substances at our border and throughout the country.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Reps. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) and Joe Morelle (D-NY) introduced the Growing and Preserving Innovation in America Act, which would make permanent the reduced Foreign-Derived Intangible Income (FDII) tax rate for American businesses.
This provision was first authorized through the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 and lowered the tax rate for U.S. companies’ FDII from 21% to 13.125%. Absent congressional action, that rate will increase to 16.4% in 2026.

Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) introduced the Paid Family and Medical Leave Tax Credit Extension and Enhancement Act to help small businesses offer paid family and medical leave (PFML) to their employees. This legislation specifically extends and reforms the 45S tax credit – which was a two-year tax credit authorized by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 and later extended by Congress through 2025 – for employers that voluntarily offer up to 12 weeks of PFML.
