Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) led a letter to Acting Director of the Air National Guard, Major General Duke Pirak, and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin requesting that ongoing runway and ramp projects at the 185^th Air Refueling Wing (ARW) in Sioux City be included in the Future Years Defense Program (FYDP).

House and Senate members representing Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota all cosigned Feenstra’s letter. This included all 6 members of Iowa’s congressional delegation.

Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) led a letter to U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Captain Andrew Bender urging the USCG to reconsider its decision to remove 36 Aids to Navigation (ATONs) on the Missouri River north of Blencoe, Iowa and to continue infrastructure investments in the Missouri River.

Eight lawmakers and 53 local businesses, organizations, and leaders supported Feenstra’s letter.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the National Taxpayers Union released its 14^th annual “No Brainers” list of legislative reforms that benefit American taxpayers, which includes U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra’s (R-Hull) Save Our Seniors Act. This legislation would help protect the long-term solvency of Social Security by requiring the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) to include the honest projection of its financial health in its annual ten-year economic outlook.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) recently introduced legislation – the Improving Brain Health in Schools Act – to help Iowa schools provide brain health care to students.

The American Psychiatric Association and Brain Health Now both support this legislation.
