This legislation which was signed into law by President Trump in 2020 and will now be extended through Fiscal Year 2030.

Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) formally joined the Delivering Outstanding Government Efficiency (DOGE) Caucus, which will work with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to cut reckless government spending, eliminate burdensome government regulations, and reduce our $36-trillion national debt.
Our national security depends on a strong military laser focused on defending our country and our values. WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) led a letter to Acting Director of the Air National Guard, Major General Duke Pirak, and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin requesting that ongoing runway and ramp projects at the 185th Air Refueling Wing (ARW) in Sioux City be included in the Future Years Defense Program (FYDP).
House and Senate members representing Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota all cosigned Feenstra’s letter. This included all 6 members of Iowa’s congressional delegation.
Based on a 2021 analysis, the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) recently determined that it would remove 36 Aids to Navigation (ATONs) along the Missouri River north of Blencoe, Iowa. The removal process is projected to be completed by May 2025, and if implemented, this would be devastating for our farmers, businesses, and manufacturers that rely on the Missouri River to ship their goods and serve their customers in an efficient and effective manner. It would also severely curtail ongoing investments in the Missouri River and slow economic growth in Iowa and across the Midwest.
